We just finished the French Open, and now we’re immediately turning our attention the Wimbledon. Now is the time you should be locking in future bets, as current odds won’t be there once the third grand slam begins. We’ll obviously have a lot of the matches covered individually, but let's take a look at some future bets on the men's side before the tournament takes place. Of course, I try to go with some longer odds in hopes of cashing out big considering my money is tied up for a few weeks. At the very least, I can hedge in the later rounds and guarantee a profit on certain players. So, let’s not waste any more time.

Here goes…
Here are five ATP players to consider betting on in the 2018 Wimbledon.
Roger Federer - Unlike Rafael Nadal at the French Open, we’re getting plus money (+150) playing Federer at the Wimbledon. Federer is an eight-time winner at the Wimbledon, won it last year and has made it to at least the semifinals each of the last three years. At the time this article was posted, Federer has posted a 33-5 record on grass the last three years. He is also 17-2 on the season this year and well rested after skipping the clay court season. It’s not the monster odds I look for, but Federer at plus money won’t be around as we get deeper in the tournament. Take it while you still can.
Alexander Zverev - Few players have been in better form this season than Alexander Zverev, as he’s made four final appearances and beaten four top-10 players. Zverev hasn’t had much grand slam success, but he is coming off a quarterfinal trip in the French Open, and probably makes it further if he didn’t run out of gas playing so many five set matches. Something is clicking with the young Zverev, and he is a decent 6-3 in his career in the Wimbledon, which was his best grand slam tournament until this years French Open. Odds of +800 gives you some hedging room later in the tournament.
Marin Cilic - Marin Cilic has had a bit of a hit or miss season this year, but he’s been a consistent grand slam player over the years, which includes making the quarterfinals or better in five of his last eight appearances. Cilic has made at least the quarterfinals in each of his last four Wimbledon appearances. Trends like that are key when you consider you’re getting +1200, as it gives you plenty of room to hedge for anywhere from one to three matches. Assuming Cilic continues his quarterfinals or better grand slam success, you’re guaranteed to make money on him regardless of the result. You’re welcome.
Kei Nishikori - Kei Nishikori has little to no Wimbledon success and has actually never even made it out of the fourth round in this tournament. However, Nishikori is playing some of his best and most consistent tennis in quite some time as he returns from injury. Nishikori has three wins over top-10 players this season and did make the final of the Monte-Carlo Masters. When healthy, you can never count him out, regardless of opponent or surface. We’re getting one of the better competitors and a guy who was a top-five player in the world three years ago with +6600 odds. He won’t win the tournament, but you can make some money hedging your bets early with those juicy odds.
Novak Djokovic - After making the semifinals of the Rome Masters and the quarterfinals of the French Open, it may be safe to say Novak Djokovic is back. Well, maybe as close to being back since 2016. He can still clean up the unforced errors and improve his serve from time to time, but the swagger has returned and you’re seeing more consistent flashes of the guy who was the baddest tennis player on the planet about 24 months ago. Take all that along with the fact Djokovic has played in four of the last seven Wimbledon finals, winning three of them during that span. You can get Djokovic at +550 odds, which is a steal as long as he continues this trajectory. You won’t get this price if Djokovic makes the Wimbledon final.
